What it gives you

Method and standards

The chart is drawn on a landscape sheet with the same title block used across the Forgepoint drawing tools. Dates are plotted to scale so durations compare visually. It is intended for engineering project programmes, tender submissions and progress reporting rather than resource-levelled scheduling.

How to use it

  1. Add a phase, then add tasks under it with start and end dates.
  2. Set the project name, number and revision in the title block.
  3. Download SVG or print to PDF. Your programme stays saved in this browser.

Questions engineers ask

Is my programme stored on a server?
No. It is kept in your browser's local storage only. Clearing site data removes it.
Can I export to MS Project or Excel?
Not at present. The tool produces a drawn programme (SVG or PDF) rather than a schedule file.
Does it handle dependencies and critical path?
No. It is a visual programme tool. For logic-linked schedules use a dedicated scheduling package.
